Sinterpres, S.L. is a company in the sintered components industry with a professional team with more than 30 years of experience in the Powder Metallurgy industry. We are specialized in complete Know-How on equipment for the production of sintered components in small – medium size series. We have machinery provided with the most modern elements of control, with a variety of tonnage from 5 Tn. to 120 Tn. of capacity.  The manufacture is constantly controlled under the quality system ISO - 9001:2015, which controls the QUALITY of the products.

The first stage consists in taking iron powder in different qualities according to DIN-ISO before mixed or alloyed with other components like Cu + Lubricant, C, Cr, Mo, P, C, or Ni.

On this stage, different components are mixed to obtain the final alloy with a precise and homogeneous form.

Pressing is the operation that gives form to the part. It gives high pressure in special tools of high precision set on the press, which presses the powder. It produces the union of metallic particles and then it obtains a·minimum of mechanical resistance that allows to be manipulated.

In this stage the material is placed in special ovens with a temperature lower than the point of merger of the material, normally 1.120 degrees Celsius / 1.150 degrees Celsius, under a strictly controlled purity atmosphere, which produces a weld of particles for metallic diffusion. These pieces obtained in this stage are similar to steel

A complementary stage of sintering is to calibrate. It is realized by special presses and tools which make a better submit to the parts to improve them in a geometric precision and superficial state for mechanical deformation of the part against the tool. It makes a heavy and hard material.
